2016 General Election- Tuesday, November 8, 2016

Round 2- Election Results at the Local, State, and National Level.

So what do you think? How do you explain the results? What are you hoping for when the new Presidential Administration, the new House, and the new Senate take office in January?

As a democracy, we accept the results of our elections. Our constitution has set up a separation of powers along with checks and balances to help us weather shifts in politics. Democracy allows all opinions to be heard. Each election is a referendum that allows the American people to voice their opinions. As they do every 4 years, they have just spoken. They will speak again in 2018 with the mid term Congressional elections, and will again in 2020 in the next presidential election.

PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL IN YOUR COMMENTS AND OBSERVATIONS.
